Albert Hayes, II, Found Guilty of 6 Counts of Lewd and Lascivious Battery

The Office of State Attorney Glenn Hess announces the following:

On July 6, 2017, a six-member jury found Albert J. Hayes, II, guilty as charged on six counts of Lewd and Lascivious Battery.  Assistant State Attorneys Jennifer Hawkins and Alyssa Yarbrough presented the testimony of four witnesses to establish the Defendant met a fifteen year old, on six different occasions in Bay County, Florida to engage in sexual acts with her between January of 2016 and March of 2017.  Investigator Brent Patrick with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case.  The jury deliberated for a little over one hour before returning its verdict.  Judge Brantley Clark, Jr. scheduled sentencing for August 3, 2017 at 9:00 AM.
