The Office of State Attorney Glenn Hess announced that on Friday, January 20th, 2017 a Bay County Circuit Jury deliberated approximately one hour and found Ronald Eugene Anderson guilty as charged for selling crack cocaine in the front yard of a residence on Allen Avenue in Panama City. Assistant State Attorneys Jacob Cook and Barbara Beasley presented the testimony of four witnesses to establish Anderson sold the cocaine to an undercover officer with the Panama City Police Department on May 26th, 2016. Circuit Judge Michael Overstreet scheduled a sentencing date for February 6th. Selling cocaine is a second degree felony punishable by up to fifteen years in prison.
